NDFD XML: National Weather Service Extends Comment Period for Experimental Web Feature Service

Effective November 23, 2007, NWS has extended the comment period for the experimental web feature servic
e (WFS) access to the National Digital Forecast Database through April 30, 2008. The WFS will remain experimental through the comment period. After the comment period closes, on April 30, 2008, all feedback will be assessed and a technical analysis will be completed. Upon completion of those tasks, the NWS will determine whether to transsition this service to operational status, discontinue it or revise and retain it as experimental.
