NDFD XML: National Digital Forecast Database Now Disseminates Real-time Mesoscale Analysis Data

Effective January 15, 2008, the National Digital Forecast Database (NDFD) Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and
Web Feature Service (WFS) began disseminating Real-time Mesoscale Analysis (RTMA) data. SOAP and WFS users can
find out more information about the six new RTMA elements at http://www.weather.gov/os/notification/tin06-24rtma_grids.txt.
Additional information on how to access the new data through the SOAP service and WFS can be found at
http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/xml/ and http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/xml/OGC_services/.
