Kyoto Enters Into Force

The Kyoto Protocol, the international agreement adopted in 1997 in Kyoto, Japan, officially enters into force on February 16, 2005. The Pew Center has compiled a number of resources on the treaty, including its history, current issues, next steps, research and reports and more.
